Ms. Walthall’s academic interests include politics, public opinion, religion, and American culture.
Her career concentrations include communications and research, with the broader goal of connecting academia with the public in a way that makes information interesting, accessible, and relevant. Ms. Walthall is a recent graduate of The College of William & Mary, where she received a B.A. in Public Policy, and participated in the Spring 2015 W&M in Washington Program where she studied politics and social media and interned with PRRI. She has served as the Student Director of the Social Science Research Methods Center and as an education policy research assistant at William & Mary. She has also worked with the William & Mary Center for Student Diversity as a Peer Educator to facilitate dialogue on sexual, religious, racial, and ethnic identity.
